We are just over a month away from the start of the Chicago Fringe Festival, year 3! Can you believe it? The extravaganza begins on August 30. Our staff and volunteers are working hard to make 2012 our best year yet, but we need your financial help to make it happen.

Need some numbers?

In 2012, we have 50 artists or groups performing over two weekends in five venues. That means a lot of shows!

$500 contributes to the cost of a venue rental for 1 weekend
$250 gets us lights and gels for a large venue
$100 builds seating for 15 people
$75 buys wood and hardware for an ADA accessible ramp
$50 adds visibility to our marketing with 1 ad on a CTA bus or train
$25 restocks first aid kits for each of our venues

And 100% of ticket sales go directly back to Fringe artists -- to date that's over $60,000. We have seen over 5,000 patrons sit in our seats. We have had almost 400 performances. We have countless people to thank.
