Angels' Bane is the first of a trilogy set in a faraway galaxy. If Star Wars and Paradise Lost had a love child, it would probably look something like Angels' Bane.
The story begins as rebel angels, fleeing the powers of justice, seize control of a human intragalactic empire. As the humans reel under their new conquerors, some dare to fight, but an angel's mere presence will burn a human instantly. A new champion, the gladiator Stark, arrives on the scene with potential beyond his own understanding, but as he begins to grasp his destiny, the galaxy's inhabitants — human and angel alike — begin to tremble.
