Update #3: Success!
Dear Friends and Backers:
We are excited to announce that yesterday -- thanks to your very generous support -- we met and surpassed our Kickstarter goal. We thank each of you from the bottom of our hearts and look forward to sharing the film with you. Our Kickstarter campaign still has one week left, so please help spread the word that additional pledges are welcomed and will only serve to increase the quality and impact of this film.
To mark the moment, we thought we would go back to the beginning and share the very first video for the project: the original "teaser" we shot in Brooklyn, in Spring 2008 -- before Run for the Fallen had taken place; when its founder, Jon, was planning and training for the event. The project has come a long way since then, to say the least, and we look forward to seeing you at the finish line!

Update #2: Big Week!
We are so grateful to all our new backers for their tremendously generous pledges this week. Thank you so much! We're closing in on $10,000 and have 3 weeks to reach $15,000. It's looking really good, but we don't want to be overconfident. If you can each encourage just a few more people to make small pledges this week, it will add up, and the campaign will surely be successful.
We wanted to get this post up before we bunker down for Hurricane Irene. To all those in the path of the storm, take care and stay safe!

Film for the Fallen is a Brooklyn-based production company that was founded to document Run for the Fallen and share its story. Our crew followed the Run on its journey across America in summer 2008, and the result is the documentary, "To Them That’s Gone".
