Dear Kickstarters (that's you),
First of all, thank you. I am honored to be partnering with you and I am extremely grateful for each one of you.
This worship album/project has been a 6 year journey of writing, planning and dreaming. Over the past 6 years God has really woven the key pieces of this project together by providing me with songs, a studio to record at, community encouragement, a very supportive and loving wife (thanks Janae!) but there has been one key piece that had not yet been put in place....the money to fund this album. I truly believe that God wants to use each of you to help bring this project to life and Kickstarter is the vehicle to get it done.
Let me explain all the details for you:
THE ALBUM
This is a worship album from the heart. These are songs that I have written and a few that have really inspired my walk with Jesus over the years.
WHY?
When I first started leading worship at my local college group I noticed that we seemed to sing the same songs ALL the time. The same was true for our Sunday services. I started to wonder why nobody seemed to be writing new and fresh songs. This set me on a personal mission to write songs for the congregation. Songs that can be sung in churches all around the globe.
HOW THE MONEY WILL BE USED
The money that you give will be used for:
1. Recording the album in a professional studio
2. Professional Musicians to play on the album
3. Producer
4. Mastering (adds the final shine)
IF WE EXCEED THE $10,000:
1. Printing the albums (CD's)
2. Album Artwork
3. Photography for Album Artwork
Lastly....
WHY KICKSTARTER???
Because Kickstarter gives you and I the chance to work together.
Plus, I think that this is a really great idea.
Plus, I hate asking for money so this seemed like the best way to allow people to invest without having to "ask."

I want to clarify that the "signed" album was only used as a reward to make it different from the other rewards below it. Today the intent behind the signed albums was questioned and based on the integrity of this being a worship album.... I will NOT be signing the albums. You will still receive the specified number under each reward but they will not be signed. I never wanted it to come across as a contradiction of my character as a worship leader.
