      I met you yesterday at Toledo's Erie Street Market and tasted your products for the first time: I am a fan!
      Love the grassy and earthy taste, the semi-soft and creamy texture, and the slightly tangy sensation (Burr Oak cheese).
      Bravo !

Brian Schlatter

Brian Schlatter is a sixth generation agriculturalist, who has channeled his love of the land into producing artisan cheese on the farm which has been in the family since the 1850’s. Brian studied cheese at the Vermont Institute for Artisan Cheese completing both the Beginning and Advanced Certificates and has traveled abroad working alongside some of Europe's best cheesemakers. He currently makes 10 varieties at Canal Junction, 3 (Charloe, Lock 21, Mule Skinner) of which are his own originals.
