About this project
Unsent Letters: People submit letters they've written but--for whatever reason--they cannot send. "Things you wish you could say but know you never will..."
When the blog project started, we underestimated its impact. We were overwhelmed with thousands of letters from all over--emotional letters to parents/step parents, siblings, ex boyfriends/girlfriends, spouses/ex spouses, friends/ex friends, bad doctors, people who had died, and more. Not only do the letters entertain, an unexpected benefit was cathartic release writers experienced by purging pent up emotions and readers who relate.
We wish to publish the best letters in a perfect bound book collection and offer a free copy to each contributor. We also plan to sell copies.
We are a small press affiliated with a writing contest that helps authors launch writing careers and become published. We currently work at a loss and by donation, because it is a loving endeavor to help fledgling and established writers succeed.
For this project, we seek funding to pay contributors, purchase cover art for the book, and for offset printing of 1500 books for the first print run. We have previously published titles related to our contests. For Unsent Letters, the set up fees and advances are expensive, and we have never taken on a project of this magnitude with so many who will benefit, both personally and professionally, from acceptance and publication.

Everything in previous three levels, PLUS a personal 'gift' page for a husband or wife for birthday, anniversary, special occasion, kid's graduation congratulations or any other personal special event. We will work with you to design your own special page with a personal message and B&W photos or designs. We'll design the page for you, using your graphics/images or ours, and put your personal message to a loved one right inside the book! What a great gift that would be! We limit this to five special pages, so we can spread them out throughout the book and they don't lose their 'specialness' for the recipient!

Everything in previous three levels, expanded to full page ad for a business or service in the back of the book & a clickable banner ad on Accentuate's writers forum for one month.

Prominent front of the book full page sponsorship advertisement and thank you for sponsoring our project. You can design the ad page or we will using your logo and business or service name. You'll receive everything in the previous levels, except your page will get center stage right at the beginning of the book as well as being thanked in the acknowledgments. Great advertising that you know will go out to AT LEAST 1500 people, and then even more when we offer the digital version nine months later! Limit of ONE reward at this level, so act fast! We'll delete this one when it's chosen!
