Update #8: Holy shit - finally! Fake hair, black eye and all.
Darling peeps,
Because this is the music biz, there's been a delay finishing the record. Naturally. I only like to make records that give me an aneurysm, punctuality-wise.
So - at long last! I'm feeling good, and I'm working out the last song (a very minimal acoustic situation). A cover of "Drive" by The Cars. Don't get too excited. I mostly just talk a lot. Which . . . is what I do I think. Too bad you can't get a job at that.
Mastering date is finally set (beginning of september) and afterwards graphics, duplication, shipping, etc should take about 8 weeks. I know - I'm pretty annoyed too. Now I'll be releasing amongst Xmas records from Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber and so on. Alas, I push on. :)
SO SO SO SO SO excited to see the finish line!!! Thank you all. It's been a long process, but it's so worth it, and so important to me. Thank you.

I started playing guitar at age 8, on a farm in outer Oregon. I was fixated. I played lots and lots of rodeos, laundromats, and proms. I also shoveled horse shit regularly.
I finished high school and moved to Hungary. Played there for a couple years. Then France. I also did a lot of dishwashing in restaurants.
I came back to the States, and in 2006, I've been on and off labels, finally deciding to create my own company, Vinyl Tiger. Naturally I chose to do it at the nadir of the recession. I think I might have a cashew for a brain sometimes.
Both records were beautifully received and I got placements on House, Grey's Anatomy, Dexter, etc . . . .but every day the game kept changing. Finally I realized I need to make the record I'd been dreaming about - with meshell ndegeocello, Carla Azar, and Chris Bruce. I
And I have a dog. Who is nuts. AND I am also into coin collecting. But that is STRICTLY between you and me people. I don't want to be stripped of my rock 'n' roll card!
