live from the uk ep & new project
howdy folks!
just an update to let you know what's going on in the whiskey priest word. i've been working in my spare time in albuquerque, new mexico, to put together a little live ep from the uk tour back in the fall, that you all so graciously helped to fund. it's taken mainly from one show in edinburgh, with some extra stuff here and there from radio appearances and living room recording sessions. this should be ready in a couple of weeks. i'll be passing more info about that along to you then.
right now, i'm working to get ready to make the new record! which is pretty exciting. i've been busy demoing songs this fall and winter, and have been talking with rob sanchez from austin band monahans about producing the new record. the production costs for this record are already covered (hooray!), but we've started a modest kickstarter project to cover daily expenses - specifically gas money to get down to austin, and food money to eat while i'm there recording (and not working my two jobs here in new mexico).
