Head Cap will provide easy access to tables, dice rollers and record sheet management to streamline your tabletop Battletech games.
Head Cap is gonna be an app for the Ipad, Iphone, and touch. It will provide support for the table-top game Battletech.
The goal for the Head Cap app is not to be a replacement for the official Battletech rules or the official mech design applications. It will not teach you how to play the game or automate the game out-right. At this stage it is intended as a supplement to your game experience. It will reduce the amount of reference time and bookkeeping. If it can also reduce the amount of paper usage from printed/photo copied record sheets, then that's good too.

The initial release of Heap Cap will provide the following features:
- Dice Roller, 1d6 and 2d6
- Interactive Tables, all the pertinent tables for game play with options to enter a number from a tabletop roll or use the built in dice rollers.
- Record Sheet Managers, to enter in all the information pertinent to play, add a photo to identify the unit and other useful tools to help you store your variations of giant walking tank.
- Two standard Unit Types, Bi-pedal and Quad mechs.
- 'Game' Tracking, generate a game with a single unit, lance, etc. and save the status separate from your stable of untouched record sheets.
- Interactive Record Sheets, record heat, armor and structural damage, critical hit slot losses, pilot status and all other pertinent information while inside 'game' tracking.
The first release is planned for early August. John is generating artwork for the app's splash screen, gui and icon. While Pablo develops the database and handles the coding. The app is already in the earliest stages of production.
Your funding will allow us to gauge interest in the app. The money will go to accelerate the process, allowing Pablo more time to code and John more time to promote and design.
This is the logo for the App. It will appear in the program as well as on the Dice, both metal and plastic.
Here is a sample of the Metal dice. The sample on the right is a hand etched proof, actual resolution will be closer to that of the test on the leftt.
Here are the first sketches and tonal studies of the splash art that will appear in the app and on custom printed cases.
