reply toMayor B.Moore:NYT2-17-11:Apparently the city counsel and you have never visited any other place on earth outside the restricted little village a/k/a GreenwoodLake,NY.For your infomation may I educate you: every great, marvelously enriched, beautiful city in the worlde has wonderful public ART. (That's why folks go to Paris,Rome, Florence, etc.)Every city in the world has been enhanced, and unforgettably improved by the display of public ART. Since the 12th century, Venice, italy financed crusaders to bring back (booty),great works of art to decorate, adorn and glorify their city. Every little village, town, hamlet in Europe has had it's thounsands of unrecognized, forgotten artists, sculptors and foresighted city planners to encourage the beautification of their village, town,, city, etc. Don't you think Greenwood Lake could be improved> What is this that you have against ART in public? Wake up Nazi village of Greenwood lake and join to beautify American democracy. yours, Persia Tuvim,

"What a wonderful idea regarding the mention of Agnes. What a beautiful person and friend. She will be missed and her love of this village was never ending and her efforts to make this a better place to call home. Thank you again, Dawn Seeley"
Would really like to see GWL in Bloom do a low border of Hosta or other low maintenance plants at roadway under the mural. Please room there for this idea.
