To all of our supporters-
Taylor and I would like to take a moment to express our sincere gratitude for each and every one of you and your generosity. For those of you who haven't heard, we would like to announce that the days of The DipStik Bus have come to an end. After months of number crunching and contemplating if we wanted to/could bring DipStik out for yet another summer of food trucking, we decided it is in our best interest to sell the bus.
DipStik started out as a dream while we lived on Maui a couple of years ago and, with all of your support, became a reality. We had such a great time last summer cruising from brewery to brewery, to food truck parties and art festivals. We met so many fantastic people, sampled some incredible brews (in trade of fondue, of course), and even landed an article in the Denver Westword! Check it out at http://blogs.westword.com/cafesociety/2012/08/dipstix--denvers_new_fondue_fo.php We very much enjoyed whipping up those delicious creations, working together and spending the summer days and nights in the streets of Downtown Denver. It was an experience to last a lifetime.
We are humbled by the endless love and support we received to create the business and even now as we say goodbye. The DipStik Bus is moving on to new adventures of coffee brewing and cruising for "Sky's" Coffee Bar out of Ohio. We are beyond thrilled to see our dream live on and wish the best of luck to Sky's as they embark on this endeavor.
Special thanks to my Father-in-law. He spent endless hours with us to wire, plumb, paint and clean the bus to get her up to specs in order to pass the Denver Health Dept. with flying colors. I'll never forget the excitement and joy I felt the day they handed us our license!
To all of the breweries that promoted us, gave us a place to park, and never failed to keep us properly hydrated.. We appreciate you.
To all of our backers on Kickstarter that believed in us from the beginning. So much so that you dug deep into your wallets to throw us some change (and a lot of it!)... We will never forget you.
And of course, to the patrons (and visitors) of Denver, CO that indulged in our cheesy, chocolately goodness... You made it all worth while.
Thank you all so much!
Taylor and Krystianne
