With your help we will be putting together a CD compilation of some of the best bands out of Richmond Va and releasing the CD all over the city for FREE! We are hoping to make at least a thousand copies if not a few thousand to spread around town, depending on the pledge amount. We will have local artists design the CD and its case. After working so closely for the last 3 years with richmond musicians and seeing the potential that this citys music scene has to offer, we have dedicated ourselves to help spread the amazing music of Richmond Va and helping to put Richmond on the map as a music destination. Please help by pledging what you can to make free local music CDs a reality. If this first volume of the YERB's FREE CD goes well we will hopefuly be in place to continue making them! Thank you all and may the YERB! be with you!

Welcome to the YERB!

The YERB! is a wacky, wild, fun and beautiful underground music venue in Richmond Va where the shows are always free and bands small and large, new and old, always enjoy playing for free. The people that frequent the YERB! are known as Yerbians and the city is crawling with them. We have been running this venue for over 2 years now and every show seems a little greater than the last. Though we mainly cater to any kind of rock and roll you can think of, the YERB! has had all kinds of bands grace its mural covered walls. We have had a few specific genre shows aswell such as jazz night and hip hop night. We have had spoken word poetry and comedy aswell. We have worked with members of Richmonds RVA magazine and Radio Rubber Room to put on music events and help promote the RVA music scene and we are extreamly happy to work with people that are just as dedicated as we are at helping this music scene thrive. We are almost done with covering every celing and wall with murals done by many different Richmond artists. The YERB! may not always be there but you can bet your ass the Yerbians will always be a driving force in this citys music scene!

Seeing as our only expenses will be the production and design of CD's &CD cases, we will hopefully be able to release at least 1 thousand copies of this CD and depending on how much is donated we will make many thousand so please feel free to continue to back this project even if we have already reached our goal (if we get there).
