This is a project that highlights all aspects of Vintage Racing, but without the next generation getting involved, we may lose it.
This project is different than most on Kickstarter as we are very far along in the process of making this movie. The money we are raising is going to be used to enhance the production value of the movie. We started this project very humbly with the hopes to promote and preserve this hobby of Vintage Racing.
I have followed a Vintage Racing team from Nashville TN called Zapata Racing Team for about a year. At the events the Zapata guys attend, I interview and encounter a diverse group of people who all share a passion for Vintage Racing in varying ways. Some race on a tight budget, while others race with a small fortune. All who race have a great experience and have been eager to share this passion with me for this movie.
Our hope is that this movie clearly explains what Vintage Racing is, who is involved, what it takes to get into racing, and how you yourself can get into racing. The most important topic we wish to cover is the fear that this hobby may disappear without the next generation getting involved. This is an important piece of our heritage that needs to be preserved, and only we can do that. I hope you can help. Please check out the movie trailer we have made.
