Thank you for such a beautiful and important film. I very recently experienced the death of one of my closest and dearest friends. I was the only one present at the time of her passing, and it was such an honor to be there with her - an experience I'll never forget and one that has changed my view of life and death forever. Although I miss her embodied self, I'm still in communication with her, just a different relationship than the one we had before. Life never ends, it simply changes.

Thank you for making such a meaningful film. I have spent 20 years working with our wise elders and found the process from life to death an honor to witness, especially with my closest friends. Thank you to IONS for once again supporting such a meaningful valued effort. I especially appreciate Angeles Arrien Second Half of Life that encourages us to embrace passages. My personal experience is of vivid soulful symbol and imagery as I have sat witness, been in circles of support and offered simple fundamental caretaking for dying friends and loved ones. Each one is unique and a gift as I continue to learn from the experience of sitting with and embracing death. " Birth is a beginning and Death ia destination."

Almost reached the goal which shows how much and how many people yearn for this project. Really gratefull to be a part of it.

Lost my mother when I was young and became resentfull and angry. 21 years of her physical death I performed a ceremony in my mother's honour. She has been unreacheable for me for 21 years en now she is living proof for me that death makes life possible. Ever since that ceremony I have been able to live deeply.

Thank you for starting this project and thank you for giving me the opportunity to become a backer :-)

I have had the great fortune to represent, (stand in, embody) a person that was dying and it was one of the most beautiful experiences in my life. It was full of light, weightless, quite and peaceful. No worries, only thankfulness and longing to move to this new place. An upward movement into the light above.
This experience can be repeated it is not unique to me. I used a process called Systemic Constellation, that allows us to step into another persons experience and we experience the same. It is most likely using our mirror neurons.
This project will help a lot of people, thank you, yours, Elmar

The book "No Regrets" by Barry Neal Kaufman Co-Director of the Option Institute, in Sheffield, MA, would be a very insightful read and possibly have some useful material.
