      Good luck with the project!

If I weren't a chemist, I would have been an anthropologist, so this project strikes close to home.

      Cheers!

      Fantastic project!

I have been following this since the start, and I sure hope you continue to get more support to keep the project going during its critical stages. I cannot wait to see how it starts to get out there, being used as an educational effort. I for one have passed on information about it to my daughter Lucy's school where she is attending first grade. In fact, Will was generous enough to have given Lucy $10 at one time — which Lucy was thrilled by! Consider this support my partial payback for that and all your efforts!

      Cheers!

We are an ambitious environmental education project, currently on a 32 000 mile expedition to circumnavigate the Atlantic Ocean overland. We have already been through Europe and West Africa, crossed the ocean by container ship, and are now about to embark on a journey through the Americas from Brazil to Nova Scotia.

During our project we are establishing an educational network between 15 000 students around the ocean rim. We have schools in thirteen countries, from Scotland and Canada to Ghana and Brazil. Throughout the expedition we are carrying out climate change research which we are formatting into education projects for the schools involved in the network.

We are currently fundraising for $2000 to enable us to ship ourselves and our vehicle, 1000 miles up the Amazon river to carry out some work with an organisation campaigning against deforestation in the area. This is a unique opportunity to produce incredible educational resources, right from the heart of the rainforest.

More information about our work can be found on our website www.atlanticrising.org
