THE ALPHA SERIES
THE TOSCO ALPHA SERIES FEATURES DESIGNS BY 9 WORLD RENOWNED ARTIST. THE ARTIST WERE GIVEN FREE REIGN TO CREATE THE MOST EXTRAORDINARY AND AMAZING DESIGNS THAT THIS WORLD HAS EVER SEEN ON A ROBOT.
TOSCO
WE ARE SEEKING YOUR PLEDGES TO HELP PRODUCE TOSCO INTO A VINYL PLASTIC TOY. TOSCO STANDS 9 INCHES TALL AND HE IS 9 INCHES ACROSS. THIS LARGE AMOUNT OF SPACE GIVES ARTIST PLENTY OF SPACE TO CREATE A VARIETY OF UNIQUE DESIGNS.
TOSCO WOULD BE CONSIDERED A DESIGNER OR ART TOY. USUALLY DESIGNER TOYS ARE PRODUCTION PIECES MADE IN LIMITED QUANTIES AND/OR DIY PIECES THAT CAN BE DESIGNED BY ARTIST USING A VARIETY OF MEDIUMS TO CREATE THEIR MASTERPIECE. WE WILL PRODUCE TOSCO AS PRODUCTION AND DIY PIECES.
FUNDING
The project has 9 designs. 300 pieces of each design will be produced along with 300 DIY figures. That’s 3,000 pieces for a 9 inch figure.
3 inch figures and even 5 inch figures are a lot cheaper to produce but we felt that Tosco should be produced at his ideal height. Designing on a larger figure is easier and a larger size displays artwork better.
Molds- Tosco will need tooling and molds made.
Colors- We did not limit the artist designs to any color limit. We wanted artist to create their best design without a color limit.
Shipping- Shipping from the factory may be around $5,000 maybe more. The artist Tosco figures will retail for $50 each. We are offering in the project the artist Tosco figures for $50 plus free shipping. The shipping will be taken out of the $40,000 raised.
Packages- Some packages include items owned by the artist. If a package is backed as a reward then the artist will get paid for their items within the reward if any.
Funds will also go to the artist
