OCTANT FRIENDS!
Thanks for all the generous contributions! The recordings are coming along nicely and I am getting ready to crank out Theremin samplers. I have ordered extra parts so that I will be ready for more.
We have surpassed our goal of $1,500 and now have extra funds for mastering. I am super happy that the support from you and Kickstarter has made this happen. I can't wait to get this record into your hands.
Feel free to pass this project link onto friends as Octant could still use another $500 for mixing, promo, etc. Once again thank you so much, thank you, thank you, thank you!

Have you thought of adding a DVD-R of your live performance to the release? The coolest part of Octant is watching the magical machines in action as you listen!

I don't know you but when I was funding a friend of mine in SF, your project popped up and was too great not to want to contribute! If I still lived in Brooklyn (I did for 12 years) I'm sure I would want to be friends w/you & your gfriend, ha! BTW you should check out my old friend and collaborator, Ken Butler -- you would probably dig his stuff. All the best to you!

THANKS again to all the marvelous backers! The Kickstarter experience has been inspiring in many ways and I am happy to provide you with the upcoming OCTANT record.
The recording preparations are going well. The robotic instruments are tightened up. The songs are rehearsed and ready to go. My plan is to have the LP mastered by mid december and off to press. The digital downloads should be ready for Christmas! Hurray! And the vinyl should ship out sometime in January. Theremins and Prints will ship in a few weeks!
If you are in NY next week please come see OCTANT at CMJ. If not, I hope to make it to your city soon! Have a great Halloween. I will be in touch. Take care.
