G'day, you delicious delicious backers, you!

The Truck/Trailer officially hit the road today after a grueling preparatory weekend in the sunshine (oh right, so THAT's why people usually avoid the sun) inventorying, packing, stuffing, rearranging, heavy lifting, and more rearranging.  And shoving.  (and that was just the photoshoot!)

With this short timeline we're here to inform you that we're gettin' our shit did and gittin' down to the playa - but we haven't forgotten about you!

1.  Did you choose a "reward" that would require us to know your size?  (fur coat, perhaps?)  Tell us now so we can keep an eye out in our inventory!

2. Did you request SWAG?  Come pick up medallions and cards at the Boutique on playa, 2:00 and Center Camp, or we'll mail it out with yer Body Product (lip balm) when we get back.  Promise it won't be melty.

3.  The ladies of the Black Rock Boutique love YOU.

Thanks to you, we made it!  As we prep personal bins, finish inventory, load the trailer, break all our nails and duct tape everything, we are thinking of you fondly.

Some of you are getting coats, some will want them on playa others will want them mailed.  Same with medallions.  Keep an eye out the next couple of days for communication on sizes and preferences.  We have not forgotten you lovely, generous, helpful backers of AWESOME!  We think of you often and you are the reason we can do this project!

Our Away Team (brb dpw) will be hitting the road this coming monday but we will try our darnedest to mail out medallions, lip balm and postcards next week.  Please know they will come after burning man if we cannot get them out in time but they are coming!

The film should be completed early spring, go to the BORG for final approval to distribute and then we will make the DVDs and send these to those of you at the DVD level.  We estimate May 2012 at the latest. All backers will receive screen credit, higher amounts will receive Producer's credit.

For now, check out photos of Sepia and her basement studio of fanciness by Boutiquer Kiri Hargie and some shots of completed flags.  Flags will decorate the outside of our structure and really bling it out!

We have wrapped day two of interviews at hybrid studios.  It's been really great talking with vet boutiquers and newbies alike-funny, insightful, passionate, revealing, emotional, tactical, and very, very honest. 

More folks are hopping on board to help financially as well as with equipment to borrow-it is truly amazing the help you can get if you can only ask! SO many thanks to everyone who has helped out so far!
