Soul Track Mind is in the process of Recording, Mixing & Mastering their Debut album, and need additional financing! After playing out around Austin for the last two years we have come up with the funds to pay for the recording of the album. The mixing, mastering and CD production are another story. With band members from across the country Soul Track Mind has brought Austin, TX and soon the world a great look at what Soul music use to be and what it will once again become. The recording of the album has been done by guitar legened Matt Smith (http://www.mattsmithsworld.com/) who has played with musicians from Steely Dan to Johnny Winter. His ear for the vintage sound has helped capture the essance of what great soul music is about. The mixing of the album is going to be done by the legendary Stuart Sullivan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stuart_Sullivan) who has mixed albums for artists from Sublime to Willie Nelson. The mastering process is being done at Terra Nova Studios in Austin TX. The quality of the recordings as well as the fine tuning is what makes this project so spectacular in what the final outcome will be and what the price is. The money needed to fund the remainder of the project is actually $6,000, but for the purpose of getting across the first hurdle we have decided to aim for $3,000. Helping to get Soul Track Mind's 1st album out will help 8 individuals dreams of becoming professional musicians come true as well as help spread a genre of music that comes straight from the heart. & soul.
