The Big Announcement!
Dear Kickstarter Family,
I am proud to let you know we have accomplished our goal! Our documentary will begin airing on PBS on January 31st at 9:00pm eastern time. Thanks to your support through our Kickstarter effort, millions of Americans will see this inspiring film.
The documentary will have a new name, “Space Shuttle Columbia: Mission of Hope.” Each PBS station across the country has the option of airing the doc during this network time slot or to air it at a later date. Please “CHECK LOCAL LISTINGS,” and watch for updates from Kickstarter and Facebook for major market times and dates.
Our Kickstarter funding drive was the key to our success. Thanks to you, we built a strong base of underwriting support around the world to get "Mission of Hope" on television. Now we turn our attention to getting out the word nationwide about the PBS broadcast. Just like the Kickstarter effort, spreading the word with the help of our supporters will be key.
Here’s how you can help: Check out our new 30-second promotional spot which is featured in this update will be airing on PBS. Just as you did to spread the word about Kickstarter, you can share the spot with everyone! We've posted a copy on VIMEO: https://vimeo.com/missionofhopemovie/teaser
Post the link on your Facebook page, tweet it, email it, and tell all of your friends. Then ask your everyone to do the same. It’s simple, and it works!
