Kickstarter

Thanks to all of the amazing support from our backers, we met and surpassed our goal on Kickstarter!

We have no proper words to thank you all enough.  We're very excited to start using these funds to put the finishing touches on "Abalimi" - and then it's off to the festivals!

Right now, we're deep into the re-edit(s) and having a great time trying to streamline and compress the piece without losing the mood and feeling of the beautiful people and environment in which we were immersed.

We need to make this film as engaging as possible so that we can help to get the message to more people about micro-farming, gardening, and the overall struggle for food security and independence.  Cape Town is such a great place to capture this movement because it's both urban and rural, and the quality of the earth there is poor.  So it's a perfect example of how one can micro-farm in any environment!
