Here's the cover and some teaser text of the Sci-fi pledge story! We've got just under 24 hours to go. Plenty of time to snatch up all four e-stories and have access to the game for only $40.00!

When I saw the man, the man with arms made of flesh and bone, bare to
the shoulder, lifting boxes into the bed of the transport, when I saw
that his arms weren’t long insect things, bristling with hairs, slender
and strong, and when I saw he lacked pinchers, mandibles, and the
plastic skin of a roach . . .
Then I knew the drugs were wearing off.

It's not too late to get the $30 donation reward and get yourself the creepy e-story, Little Sherlock, by Joshua Alan Doetsch! It'll be sure to send shivers up your spine. Here's a little taste...

I swallow.
I remove the medallion from my pocket.
Its emerald glow lights the entryway at the bottom of the stairs. I see it. Bile burns my throat. It does not like the medallion. Its body tries to flow around the green light with a loathsome plasticity. The thousand tentacles writhe in a pattern that hurts to stare at. Each quivering limb baring hundreds of tiny sucker-mouths with lamprey teeth.
Holding up the medallion, I back up against the front
door. My left hand, sticky with my blood, fumbles for the handle.

The $30 (or more) pledge will get you Josh's creepy e-story (in addition to Eric Cherry's Fantasy story and Martel Sardina's Action story)!

Joshua Alan Doetsch once built a golem out of grave-robbed parts and uneaten Halloween candy. By strange chance, this golem is fueled on rejection slips. Every day it begs and it pleads, “PLEASE, KIND SIR, KEEP ME ALIVE!” And so Joshua writes. You can thank TaleTown for allowing his poor golem to go hungry for another day. Originally from October Country, Illinois, Joshua currently resides in Montreal, where he writes video game dialogue, lives with a one-eyed cat named Raven, and commits profane acts of scrivnomancy. His first novel, Strangeness in the Proportion, was recently released by White Wolf Publishing.
A Creepy horror e-book story for Kindle (or any other e-reader) by Joshua Alan Doetsch! Watch our updates for a free sample page. This reward includes the Fantasy and Action e-book stories and the Beta game access as well. Three stories!
You can read more from Mr. Doetch on his blog:
http://joshuadoetsch.wordpress.com/At long last, a taste of one of the e-story rewards! A pledge of a mere 10$ on Kickstarter will get you the entire story AND beta testing for TaleTown. Sweet!
Watch Captain Turhem pounded a mailed fist on the stout wooden door, while the fierce winter wind slashed at his back with shards of ice. Inside the gamblers' den, addicts and fools huddled for warmth and prayed to weak gods for protection. Turhem used both fists, and the wood shuddered with the steady impacts. At last, somebody within unbarred the barricade and shoved out against the icy sludge. Turhem took hold of the handle, braced a heavy boot against the wall, and heaved. The sludge gave way. Even so, the door lay open less than half way...
