My dear 19 backers,

There are 6 days left on this funding platform and I do not want to have it expire before I wrote a final note to all of you. It looks like I will fall short of reaching my goal and this means that none of the money pledged will be processed. You all gave so much to go through this whole process to pledge your support to my work as an artist. For this I am so grateful. So many people do not understand that artists need the support of family, friends, and the community at large in order to continue their work. Somehow the work must continue in spite of lack of support or interest.

I plan to do another book even though this platform was not a success for me. I hope that you all will be willing to pledge your support directly to me going forward. The economy is making support for the arts even more difficult and I encourage all of us to help keep the creative spark alive during these hard times by helping those people that contribute this important cultural work to the world we live in.

Thank you all again for helping me to feel that I too am contributing something important and worth supporting. I have some very good art works that contains content which brings attention (and hopefully understanding) to ideas and feelings at the core of "being human". I hope you all will keep in touch with me and my work and support me when you can with your patronage. I will continue to create the living lines that represent my presence and interaction with the life I live.

What a surprise to get a generous pledge from Mark, who is dear to me but appeared out of the blue. Thank you Mark for supporting my project. I'm trying to kickstart my kickstarter project as as we head down the home stretch. One supporter who I had never met before has become a real friend and his support has transcended the generous money pledge, and he is helping me put together a dedicated website for all my creative work. I am so amazed that I can inspire others like that. Thank you Jeremy for all the help you are sending my way.

I couldn't stand my first attempt to make a video. It was too static and boring so I worked all night to make another. I think this one is an improvement. If you saw the first one and think this one is better then let me know. And if you like the video and haven't pledged yet then maybe you will take a chance and support my book project. Thanks.

So many times creative people are expected to subsidize the creative flow for the cultural community of this great country by themselves, but we cannot actualize our potential without the support of the community at large. I am so excited to report that dentist Wayne Silverstein, a fabulous dentist, has just donated a free cleaning, full exam, x-rays and bleaching, (a $1000 value) as a reward for three of the donation levels. Thank You Dr. Silverstein for your generous donation to my project and great skills and services to my supporters. We will definitely have some great smiles at the book launch party.

It means very much to me to see family and friends appear on the front lines. There are now 4 pledges totaling $950 and over 60 days to reach my goal. I am hoping that friends and contacts will at least pass on my link to the project, to people they feel might be interested. I have some great drawings that deserve to be published.
