Blanc is fusing modern arts with music and nightlife to help build a new Boston arts scene. 

Our goal is to create a space for the emerging and extremely creative Boston artists. We hope to foster an environment for social creativity and a display of the arts that is both interactive and interdisciplinary. Blanc will be a home for events featuring live music and exhibitions from local and national artists who will be given the opportunity to transform the space, making each experience completely unique and innovative. Innovation comes through observation and conversation. We cater to provide an ideal atmosphere for such meaningful experiences.

Our Purpose...

With Blanc, we hope to create a community environment that will act as an asset to the Central Square area in Cambridge, Massachusetts and rejuvenate the local D.I.Y art scene.

Our opening reception on October 6th was more than a success! We saw over 200 attendees, and had the event sponsored by Sierra Nevada. The amount of compassion I heard for visitors regarding the dwindling Boston arts was more than a motivator; it created a necessity for this project to flourish. Our showcase of local street art also catered to a previously undermined asset to Boston arts.

We know what this takes! And we want to deliver everyone a breathless, and unforgettable gallery experience to showcase well deserved contemporary artists. To do this, we need your support!!

With the money we get from Kickstarter, we hope to give the gallery the Kickstart it needs!! We have volunteers, all we need is supplies. We have ideas, all we need is materials!

While there are many areas we wish to expand our business, there are even simple operational materials that are growing out of budgets. Items include: Endless amounts of paint, promotional materials, legal costs, marketing costs, installation materials, lighting, etc. 

Also included within our future budget is a plan to produce collectable programs from exhibitions. To further cement the memories produced from our events.

Pat's background in Mobile Application programming has inspired us to fuse this technology with future exhibitions at Blanc. Such app's produced for exhibitions would be available for public sale. 

We hope to make a lasting impact on the flow of creativity for local and non-local artists alike. We hope it starts here, at blanc.

Spaces for creativity must be actively sought after. Having such a place in Cambridge is a place to introduce national artists to the Boston area and regional artists to the world.
