Hello there supporters of the new INNA jam kitchen!
I hope this update finds you well! I'm excited to announce that we reached 67% of our funding goal, with 8 days to go. Thank you for all your support of this project! We're nearly there!
We've received a bit of good press - our project was featured in today's San Francisco Chronicle as part of a story about the Food Craft Institute, a new school for artisan food producers that will open in Oakland (I'll be teaching one of the sessions on jam-making): http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2012/03/11/BU201NINUD.DTL
I'm hopeful that we'll be able to reach our goal by the end of the campaign on March 20th, the first day of spring. Please help us get the word out during this final week of fundraising by posting it on facebook and telling your friends and colleagues about this effort. Please remind them that even $1 makes a difference, and that this project will not only support INNA jam, but also local organic family farmers, the local economy and community, and other food artisans who will work in this kitchen.
