Licious debuts their first full-length album "From Darkness to Light." We don't think you're ready for this jelly.
This is our contribution to the world.
We love playing this music for all of you because that completes the circle. Its purpose is to resonate farther than our own hands, hearts and voices. We are inspired and aspire to inspire.
The darkness and light together encompass everything that is. One cannot exist without the other.
This record is unified by its stories. "From Darkness to Light" illustrates a personal journey through struggle towards empowerment. Certain songs like "Don't Let Me Die" depict desperation and soul searching while "String of Pearls" shows the contrast between feelings of worthlessness and embracing oneself. Our "sound" can be hard to define; we embark on sonic adventures to really bring out the music's truest colors. There are orchestral excursions and noisy ones, pastoral, funky, folksy, dangerous and sweet songs.
We want to capture this music and give it to you in its highest light.
