PROJECT SUMMARY

We are creating an exciting new, interactive iPad Magazine app. for indie junkies to get their fix of the latest independent music, film, and art.

Each quarter we will bring you the very best of discosalt.com with exclusive feature articles not available on the web, plus reviews, interviews, new music, art and more.

We are currently raising funds to sustain discosalt magazine indefinitely, but, in the meantime, we are racing against the clock to bring you our first issue, SUMMER 2011. MISSION

discosalt is dedicated to spotlighting indie music, film and art and to develop our already strong audience base of music, film and art buffs and those curious about indie culture.

THE FOUNDERS

Joseph Vele and Sean T. Ellis are the Editors and Creative Directors from discosalt.com and the founders of the discosalt art collective.

FUNDING GOAL

This project is completely DIY. The money we raise on Kickstarter will supplement our own personal contributions to help cover the following costs:

Software expenses: Adobe InDesign CS5/ Adobe Publishing Suite/ Final Cut Pro

Other Expenses: Editorial Expenses/ Photographer Expenses/ Photo-Film Equipment & Processing Costs/ iTunes Fees/ Monthly Publishing Fees

Other lesser costs related to designing and developing a magazine and iPad app.
