About this project
Having written this song from intimate and expressive experiences that continue to inspire love, we are carefully crafting its visual companion, a video that will capture the sentiment of the music.
Using natural elements which have always been applied when describing our feelings and emotions, alongside symbolic imagery, creative lighting, expressive costuming and make-up, we plan to create a beautiful psychedelic dream state visual so intricate that you will discover something new on each playback.
The money we raise will go towards fabric for costumes, costume design, supplies, hair and make-up, body paint artist, stylist, gaffer, editor, director, talent and catering.

Born, raised and based in Los Angeles, California, singer, songwriter,
musician Gaby Hernandez has been collaborating with some of her
cities brightest for the over 10 years. Hernandez was a founding member
of Creative Soul Music Ensemble Build An Ark, and has been recording
and performing with them since 2001. She made major contributions to
Ammoncontact's Ninja Tune releases NEW BIRTH (2005) and WITH
VOICES (2006,) The Life Force Trio's Plug Research release LIVING
ROOM (2006,) was the only vocalist featured on Teeb's debut Brainfeeder
release ARDOUR (2010,) as well as being invited to sing alongside
Mia Doi Todd on the song "Canto de Iemanja" which was included
on her latest City Zen release COSMIC OCEAN SHIP (2011,) and will
be featured on the new Red Hot + Rio compilation!
Influenced by everything from opera to pop, folkloric to experimental,
Hernandez can be categorized somewhere between two of her biggest
influences, Sade and Karen Carpenter. Her sound is all her own though,
she fuses many influences into one unique style. Speaking of influences,
get Hernandez started on music that inspires her and she's like a waterfall
of Love, overflowing with key songs she treasures by artists as vast as
Leontyne Price, Minnie Riperton, Gal Costa, and Violetta Para.
In the Fall 2007, Hernandez felt it was the right time, and
decided to start working on songs for a solo project. In Summer 2008, her
debut WHEN LOVE was released independently to a small, but very enthusiastic
response.
Gaby Hernandez returns in Summer 2011 with her strongest, most fully
developed and inspired body of work SWEET STARRY NIGHT, Produced
by The Life Force Trio. From here, it's likely that Hernandez will step out and
become a name, sound and vision that people know well, and enjoy truly!
