Forest Buddies offers a fun way for kids, parents and teachers to talk about self-esteem issues.
I developed the idea for Forest Buddies after learning of my own son's Sensory Processing Disorder. He liked the friendly animal characters and could identify with some of the "differences" each animal displays. My goal is to publish Forest Buddies as a children's book that will help teachers and parents deal with explaining diversity to our kids.
