The book looks AMAZING man! So worth the wait. Glad to have played a part in your success.

Update #70: We have the books!!

Posted on September 27

The books are now safe at home. The kids and I had a nice visit to Walsworth today. We all were treated to lunch at the Walsworth lunchroom, and Mr. Walsworth himself handed out Walsworth chocolate bars. The kids ate theirs right away but I still have mine. We also had a nice chat with Michael the forklift driver who helped load the books. Expect yours soon!

Michael, I'm speechless. It's a beautiful book, done for all the right reasons.

Update #69: Press check in Marceline, with video.

Posted on September 16

Walsworth is really doing a first-rate job with this. The color matching from proof to press was, honestly, the best I've ever seen and I've seen a few. The matte cover laminate is a brand new material which virtually eliminates scuffs, the interior stock is heavy and the ink dot from highlight to shadow fairly floats on it. I'm very happy and I think you will be too!

Wonderful! You'll almost have to make another book for all the documentation you've done throughout your process. I can't wait to see it, yo!

I didn't realize you had Walsworth printing them up. They used to just do yearbooks, I think? Can't wait to get my book!

Update #65: Final cover art (probably)

Posted on July 26, 2011

I may add a "made in the USA" graphic, somewhere. Not decided.

Lovely work, Michael! The fact it says "created in Kansas City and proudly printed in ... USA" would, I would think, mitigate against adding a 'made in the USA' graphic. But your call, of course...

Update #64: The 60 Ways

Update #63: Final template files from the printer!

Posted on July 22, 2011

Things are moving along at a nice clip now. I've just received the technical specs for the cover from the printer and I now have room for a spine design...a very good thing, and unexpected. I'm very happy with my printer, Walsworth.

Update #61: Mock up at 60% size.
