We've heard your cries, you miss the ladies of SGPink and we miss you. We are coming back, but we need a kick start!

Once upon a time there was a wildly popular podcast called SGPink. This podcast featured women who loved talking about games, but mostly ran off on tangents regarding everything OTHER than gaming. We made it to 114 episodes spanning nearly three years and reaching thousands of listeners. Old episodes can still be found on iTunes.
After our show retired nearly a year ago, we left a huge void in the hearts of our listeners. We have been constantly getting requests to come back in some way, shape, or form. Well, it's official, we are coming back!! The original cast of SGPink, Harley, Lesley, and Jax will be making ourselves at home with a new website The Married Gamers. They are kindly offering to host our new podcast, The Mommy Gamers.
Harley, Lesley and I (Jax aka Marcia) will be coming back in a big way. Our podcast will feature everything Mommy. Harley brings with her all of her cooking expertise, Lesley her love of wine, children, and charity, and Marcia will bring her passion for gardening, and fitness. All of The Mommy Gamers will entertain you each week with stories of their children, families, pets, and yes, a sprinkling of video game chat too. Our chemistry was great before, but it will be even better now that we are talking about all the things that we are passionate about, not just gaming.
So why am I doing this Kick Starter program? Because The Married Gamers are generous people who pay for EVERYTHING for their site, and I don't think they should have to pay to host our podcast. I'd like to raise the funds to pay for our first year of producing our podcast, and I'd really love to be able to purchase a professional mic to record with. All three years of recording SGPink were brought to you, on my part, by the magic of my Rock Band microphone on a microphone stand purchased at a music store. I need something better! We have enough fans out there that would be more than willing to
drop $5 just to hear our magical voices again, and an insane few of you who
would pay more to hear me sing (you sick, crazy people).
Any extra money raised will go into improving the quality of our podcast, improving our equipment, and bringing you a bigger and better show than you ever experienced from us before. We are coming back either way, but help us come back in style please! We miss you, and you should be hearing our first podcast within the next couple weeks. Hopefully you're as excited as we are!"

Um, yes...if you would like but Marcia doesn't want to have to sing any more songs than she already does, so please if you do keep chipping in, don't chip in too much. She already has NINE donations that require her to create an original song to serenade those donors (and the rest of you).

New shoes for Lesley, a new measuring cup or rolling pin for Alcia, and a pedicure for Marcia who for some reason loves to garden barefoot. Her feet are gross! Seriously though, any extra money raised be put to good use. We have many creative ideas to go along with the podcast, but we weren't trying to be greedy and ask for too much. Just please, dont make Marcia sing any more songs. At 9 songs so far and one song coming out every episode you will be hearing her awful voice well into next year. You did this to yourselves...

Seriously guys, if this thing keeps getting bigger, we may have to add some new features to the podcast we hadn't considered before, like video streaming and our own app!

Marcia, previously known as JAX will sing you a song on the podcast. If you are not familiar with Jax's singing, it's really quite unique. Those who are familiar with her singing are already cringing in delight. We will only do one song per episode, or depending on the volume, an entire bonus episode of songs, but we will get you all in eventually. Requests can be made at the end of this program, and yes, she will sing ANYTHING. You also get the button, and the shoutout at this level.

If for some strange reason there are an enormous number of requests for songs being sung we will make you a custom CD compilation of all the songs. If not, you will get a sad little CD with one or two songs on it. Either way, it'll be a wonderful CD with a fancy handmade The Mommy Gamers logo on it, probably in sharpie marker. Again, you also get the shoutout, the button, and the special song from Jax. The delivery date on this will depend on how many songs Jax has to come up with.

Remember those fancy, adorably SGPink baby doll T-shirts we had made? The shirts are black, with the Pink SGPink logo, 100% combed, ring spun cotton. Double-needle stitched sleeves and bottom hem. Well there are quite a few left, and what with their being no more SGPink and all, well we have to do something to unload them right?
