Dearest Friends - 

Thank you so much for participating in our Kickstarter campaign. The response we've received from friends and family thus far has been overwhelming, to say the least. We're already more than halfway to our goal!

Next up is spreading the word to more of our new neighbors. We'll be in the neighborhood this weekend conducting preliminary job interviews and hope to make a few trips around the block with flyers to help drum up a little extra excitement.

This morning we got a glimpse of our picnic baskets (see below). Inside the space, the walls in the basement and kitchen are nearly finished. The massive ventilation hood (which required the removal of a wall to deliver!) should be hung on Monday. The crews have been terrific to work with. We're excited to have them over for dinner once we're open! Especially the electrician, who bears a striking resemblance to a young Bill Murray, and is equally funny. 

Thanks again for your pledge. It means a lot. We'll be back in touch shortly with a few more updates. We've still got a ways to go, but with your help spreading the word, we're confident we'll get there.
