TizzyCakes is a cupcakery I want to get going. The legal field doesnt have my heart, but baking does! Trying to start a storefront.
I started TizzyCakes because I wanted to be able to share my passion with other people. My love for baking started at a young age while learning to bake with my grandmother in her kitchen. Many years later, I still love to bake with my grandma in her kitchen and share recipes. TizzyCakes is very small and only marketed by word of mouth, social media and a website. However, this is not drawing in many clients and I would like to be able to bake out of a certified kitchen so that I may sell my cupcakes at local events and markets. Due to the Texas Cottage Law, I am unable to do so because I bake from my home kitchen with only my food handlers certification. I am trying to raise money for:
Certified Kitchen Rental
A second stand mixer

If this company is funded, I will be able to bake and sell at local markets and events and really get the word (and delicious cupcakes) out there! This would hopefully mean my business would grow and I would be able to open an actual storefront sometime in the future!
