About this project

By now, the South by Southwest music festival held in Austin, TX every March is basically a household name, but Flatstock, the American Poster Institute's concert poster exhibition, may not be as familiar. Taking place in tandem with the music festival, Flatstock is THE place for concert poster artists to show and sell their artwork. (If you haven't checked out www.gigposters.com it's worth the look - it's the online hub for concert posters)

As a young screen printing studio (http://fakedog.squarespace.com), we're dying for the chance to see the work of other professional screen printers in person, and to show off our stuff to the huge SXSW crowd. We've already been accepted and have reserved our spot at the conference, but it's expensive. We're shooting for $1000 to cover our airfare, lodging, and display booth.
