Kickstarter

Many people are looking for original D&D artwork that I did in my days as a staff artist at TSR Hobbies, the publishers of the Dungeons & Dragons role-playing games. Unfortunately, almost all of that original artwork of mine was destroyed years ago.

So Kickstarter is giving me the opportunity to re-create some of that original D&D artwork that is so iconic to many people. I am starting with the 1980 edition of the Deities and Demigods hardbound manual of which I did 49 illustrations! Each Kickstarter project will include all the illustrations from a particular section of the book, beginning with the popular Norse Mythos. The Norse section contains 9 illustrations:

• the Valkyries
• Heimdall
• Hel
• Loki
• Sif
• Surtur
• Tyr
• Uller
• Fenris Wolf
  

The new drawings will be much more detailed and refined. Every other month I will be launching another Kickstarter project re-creating all the illustrations from that chapter of Deities and Demigods. Eventually re-creating all the illustrations from the book that I had done.

BONUS! Here is an opportunity to own original art by me. On the largest premium I will be doing a remarque in the margin of particular prints. Remarqe on a print is an original drawing done in the margin or border. I am only offering a limited number of ten of these. You get to choose which print I will be adding a remarque to.
