Joel Bergner is an award-winning mural artist whose work, focusing on issues of culture, diversity and history, explores a variety of local and international social issues. His murals are brightly- colored, intense and detailed, and are currently on display in many cities across the US and abroad. Joel has led youth mural projects, collaborated with artists and organizations, and organized a project that featured a series of murals by international artists in Washington DC. In January of 2010, Joel participated in the international mural festival Inter-Nos in Santiago, Cuba, where he collaborated with artists from 9 countries to create a series of large public murals around the city. He is also a member of the Inter-Nos International Mural Arts Council, which promotes mural festivals around the world.
