Kickstarter

On September 15th, 2012 I will present my new performance art piece titled Rehearsal/Recording in collaboration with the MAK Center in Los Angeles. I hope you will support me in creating this ambitious new work!  

Rehearsal/Recording is a new site-specific work created for the historic Schindler House. The audience will sit in the garden, eavesdropping on a rehearsal and recording by an unseen string quintet inside the house. They will listen to the performance, but not be able to see the artists. They will witness something private and intimate, a rehearsal, a work in progress, a manifestation of creativity. 

The production is being sponsored by The MAK Center of art and architecture at the Schindler House. Now an art museum, it was originally built as a private residence in 1921 and one of LA’s first modernist buildings. 

I hope you will consider making a contribution to help with costs of this project. I have already raised nearly $4,000 towards my $10,000 budget. Your donation will help pay for the musicians and composer fees, audio equipment, and a sound engineer. Thank you for supporting my exciting new work.
