Wonderfully, this also coincided with the beginning of baseball season and Cinci sure loves opening day!
One of the things I wanted most of all was uniform jerseys. I've wanted RTC uniforms for ages and I love jerseys. So I set off to find places where we could go all out and really get some nice customs.
I learned a few things while I was looking around. Firstly: it's hard to find places to do custom uniforms if you're not actually a sports team. Luckily, I'm persistant! Secondly: uniforms are expensive! I had no idea how much it really costs to get a uniform done. $100 or more is not an unreasonable amount to expect. This was a bit disappointing to me since it meant we couldn't offer the jerseys to the lower donation tiers. We had to go with the $500 donation tier to cover the cost of the reward item. Still, I have the mock-ups and it looks pretty darn cool. We hope you think so too!
