PINK HAIR AFFAIR wants to perform their show "Let The Night Be Dark" on a stage in Philadelphia and pay their dancers!
We put on this lovely show about womanhood, and self-discovery back in November of 2011. Kaleigh Jones is the Artistic Director of this performance who's original idea stemmed from her University of The Arts days.
Since the show has already been performed (except for some new additions and slight changes), and the costumes have been measured, designed, sewn and worn, we are ready to bring this production to the next level.
Our hopes are to put this beautiful piece of work, from such a diverse and eclectic dance company, from a studio space to a spacious stage such as the Painted Bride (right here in Philadelphia, and our fiscal sponsor!).
With your help, we can pay our dancers who sweat, bled, cried and performed this piece with such beauty, grace and maturity on a "real" stage, and make it more accessible to the local Philadelphia community.
