Arkay has been planning a new album for quite some time, but we need YOUR help to put it all together and get our album to the world!

 We've been trying to get a brand-new, proper studio album recorded and released for some time. Unfortunately for us, to do it right costs money, and while we are able to tour and play live shows, a lot of times the money that we make playing live has to go to keeping us on the road and playing those shows, and while we also have jobs in our non-musician lives, unfortunately that almost always has to go with for keeping the lights on and food on the table and it leaves very little for the studio and production costs that making an album incurs. Since we don't have the luxury of a record label to foot the bill for our studio time, production costs, marketing, and distribution, we are coming to you - our many great friends and fans - for your help in realizing our goal and we promise to reward your kindness with an amazing collection of music that is honest, from the heart, and 100 percent Arkay. For your help, we are offering many great rewards to show our gratitude for your contribution, everything from signed first-edition CD's when they're released to coming to your hometown and playing for you. We've gotten this far, but this is as far as we can make it on our own. We have been down this road before, several times before over the years trying to get into the studio and record a new album, only to have situations that we cannot control halt the creative process and force us to abandon the project. The #1 problem we have faced over the years is funding, always having enough of it in place to get a good start and pieces in place, but never having enough to see our goal to completion. If we are able to meet our goal with this campaign, funding will no longer be an issue, however other issues have arisen before which have derailed us which we have prepared for this time, namely recording at a dedicated recording studio with a professional producer. This eliminates previous problems we faced when recording at home studios with friends or acquaintances playing the role of producer, where we were often under time constraints and having to work with around people not directly involved in the process.
