Without further ado, we present to you the GoldieBlox Manifesto, as told by your little girls:
Spread this video far, spread it wide. Take it as your ammunition. Fire on all cylinders. This is about our girls. They are stars and it’s their time to shine.
We have ONE WEEK left to go.
One week to tell the toy industry: our daughters are more than just princesses!
One week to tell stores: GoldieBlox deserves to sit on the shelves next to Bob the Builder and Thomas the Train!
And one week to tell our girls: you can be ANYTHING you want to be when you grow up!
The bigger the numbers on Kickstarter, the stronger the message.
It’s GO TIME, and we couldn’t do it without you.

PS – For those of you considering upping your pledge to the series [GET THE WHOLE GANG -- $90], we have some good news for you.
Regardless of whether we hit our $400,000 stretch goal, we will STILL be able to fulfill your orders for the [GET THE WHOLE GANG] level.
If we reach $400,000 by October 17th, we’ll be able to ship Book+Toy #2 and Book+Toy #3 by April ’13 and May ’13, respectively. If we don’t reach this goal, we will still be able to produce them…it’ll just take a little longer (by August ’13).
Reaching the $400,000 stretch goal will enable us to hire the right people and ramp up production so that we can deliver them as quickly as possible. Either way, you’re gonna get them, so don’t fret! Ruby and Rosie are in the works.
We’ve received a few questions about what’s included in the GET THE WHOLE GANG series. Here’s the breakdown of what you get at this pledge level:
Set 1: "GoldieBlox and the Spinning Machine" storybook + character figurines + construction pieces to build a belt drive
Set 2: "GoldieBlox Goes to the Parade" storybook + character figurines + construction pieces to build a vehicle
Set 3: "GoldieBlox and the TreeHouse" storybook + character figurines + construction pieces to build a pulley elevator
All of the construction pieces in each set will be inter-compatible. Book+Toys 2 & 3 introduce medium and long axles and different lengths of ribbon. With this many construction pieces, the play opportunities are absolutely endless. We can’t wait to see what your girls build with them.
At the end of the Kickstarter campaign, we will be sending out a simple survey to collect everyone's pledge information, so if there is a prize on there that you want but it's not included in your pledge level, just add the dollar amount and we'll clear everything up in the end.

American Association of University Women has a program Expanding Your Horizons for middle-school-age girls to attend a conference and attend sessions where women with nontraditional and traditional jobs talk about preparing for jobs, especially jobs heavy on math and science knowledge. You may want to have this organization as one of your marketing points. Consider making toys for this middle-school-age of girls. This line could be expanded in many ways. Great idea!!
