My funding goal is $1500 - I feel hopeful that this will be reachable in the time given but hope to make whatever I can above that over the next 15 days. THANK YOU FOR CONTINUING TO BE A PART OF MY WORK, YOU ARE AMAZING! 

This will be my third 'record' on guitar - who knows what number overall.  I have been making records for a long time, and each one feels completely different - I am no longer 16 and making tapes on four-tracks in my bedroom, but in many ways the spirit is the same.

I'll be making this one with the help of Sean Ogilvie (of Musee Mecanique / Laura Gibson) who also helped to create my last record, 'Home of the Brave.'  This time we'll be recording in a variety of spaces including my own victorian home in SE Portland.  

In the past few years I've experienced a great deal of change, and as a musician I've had trouble finding a way to express myself - so this is one way, and a stepping stone to another way.  I hope that you'll be able to take some small thing from the songs I've written.

I'll be enlisting the help of other musicians in Portland, and most likely also in bay area, CA and New York. If time and funds allow I hope to be working with Mason Jar Music in the world of orchestration.

The money you donate will go toward -

- paying an engineer to record and track my songs
- ideally paying the musicians who play on the record
- mixing and mastering the final record
- packaging, artwork, and pressing

While the amount raised will not likely cover everything, it is a huge start.  Thank you so much for considering my project.  It means the world to me!
