Well, the book is out. And it's called The Slaves Have Names: Ancestors of My Home.
I'm very excited to get copies to those of you who gave at that level, and I'll send those out as soon as they get to me in the next two weeks. Also, if you'd like to purchase additional copies, you can do so here through Amazon or here through my personal website. The electronic version is available now (and you can give ebooks as gifts, if you'd like), and the print version should be available next week.
For those of you who gave at a level that means I get to come and talk about the book with you and your friends, I'll be in touch soon to get those dates scheduled for early 2014. I can't wait.
Thank you so much for all the ways you've supported me through this journey. I truly couldn't have done this without you.
Happy Hanukkah and Happy Thanksgiving to you all!!
With much gratitude,
P.S. if you wouldn't mind spreading the word about the book, I would be most grateful. You can share the Amazon link above or point people to the page I made about the book. Plus, you might want to check out that page on my website because I included some photos of the slave cabins and the buildings they constructed there. Thank you again.
