First performance of the extended run maybe the best yet
A great audience filled with some of my favorite performers and friends -- Peter Friedman, Jill Eikenberry, Michael Tucker, Mia Dillon, Keir Dullea and Alix Elias. Everything snapped together with a new tightness and the end brought cheers. Three more performances (for now) at SoHo Playhouse, then two scheduled for Chicago, and after that probably some pick-up gigs hither and yon. Would appreciate any tips or recommendations anybody might have to play this at theatres, colleges, synagogues or (hey, why not?) cruise ships.
Pretty soon, I'll put together a recording of a current performance. There's one scheduled for an audience of rabid improvisers in Chicago, in the Del Close Theatre, in fact. That should be quite a group to play for ...

Max --
As it happens the EDTA contacted me and I'll be performing it on Septebmer 23 in the Palmer House! (Which will be fun since one of the scenes in the piece -- the Yakov Smirnoff section -- takes place partially in the Palmer House.) I was already scheduled to run a workshop for EDTA, so the logistic are pretty easy.
I don't know much about getting bookings to other conventions. Do they have budgets to bring people in and do this sort of thing? See, I'm new to this world!

The EDTA (Educational Theatre Ass.) convention could be a perfect venue. I would be willing to put in a recommentation. Other theater conventions would also be a good bet. ( CETA California Educational THeater Ass.)
