New Carbon Fiber Landing Gear
Thanks for the support! I'm working on the helicopter every day.
I've started purchasing some of the pieces as the Kickstarter support grows. There are over 25 pieces that need to be replaced with lighter versions. None of the pieces were heavy to begin with so each piece is only a few ounces lighter. Little by little, it's all going to add up to 15 pounds.
The first thing to do is to replace the 4 aluminum landing gear legs with carbon fiber. This will save 0.8 pounds.
