Pledge $500 or more Pledge $500 or more
Any 2 people who pledge over $500 can choose a cover for me to try in the studio. I'll provide a list of songs for you to review and set up a time to discuss suggestions. You will be directly involved in my creative process by doing this, and if you're willing to get into the necessary deep conversations about the choosing a song and why it fits into the overall project, I welcome your input. I like a a good challenge. For this amount you get a cover song plus signed edtion of the vinyl album plus a preview mix of your chosen cover e-mailed to you plus a hand made CD package (individually done for each contributor at this level) plus a link to the high resolution mp3s.

Anything that we make from here goes directly towards packaging. This is going to be a super small run of vinyl and CDs with simple letterpress packaging and some nice inserts. All of the recording is now funded and then some.
Congrats on meeting the goal - can't wait to hear your version of "Dust in the Wind"
Excellent news ! I would have bid up for a second copy :0)
To Cry You A Song? You are a wonderful person!
Although I did reject the idea of Kansas yesterday, I would like to offer that one of the songs on the list of yet to be recorded includes "To Cry You A Song" by Jethro Tull...
No Kansas, sorry. I could get into why, but there are some (serious) reasons.
I'm open to any serious suggestiong, but again. I'll provide you with a list of songs that I've been working from, and it'll be incumbent upon the person who wants to bring a song into the fold to do some listening and research before bringing the selection in. That said, I'm very much game.
If I contribute $500, can I request a song by Kansas? Don't tempt me, VK! I'd love to hear you sing "Dust in the Wind" (only for a moment and the moment's gone)
Your generosity is appreciated. This has been a fun project, and if we fund it, it won't take long to finish.
What do you know I'm the first backer!! Trendsetter? I would surely expect so! Thanks for the opportunity to help out. Now to hound you for updates every 15 minutes or so ;)
