Hello!  Fen Fell is a duo composed of Kyle Hartzell and Stephen Lawrence, two Ohio natives who met five years ago while studying Audio Production at Ohio University.  Finding ourselves living within close proximity once again we decided to embark on a recording project.

The above tracks are two of 13 on the album, which were recorded and mixed over a five month period this year. All material was written and played by us and recorded with our own equipment in various locations.

All of the preliminary work is complete, we now need your help for the final step: funding the mastering!  Mastering is magical process by which older and wiser audio wizards balance levels and optimize playback for various devices, while preserving the nuances of the original recording.

For this we have selected a very special wizard: Mr. Jeff Lipton, at Peerless Mastering in Boston. His clients include Wilco, LCD Soundsystem, Bon Iver, Andrew Bird, and others. We're pretty excited.
