An adventurous moose breaks out of the zoo and goes on a search for a home.
You may have seen this project before, it didn't reach it's goal, so we're trying again, this time with more rewards and a lot more promotion.
Maurice the Moose:
Moose on the Loose is a fun and charming
book about breaking free and finding that place that you love and feel
at home. It has already received positive reviews from the children that
have had the pleasure of experiencing it in it's original, hand-drawn
form.
The Project:
The book is 9x5 with 33 pages. It is
already fully illustrated and ready to go to print. With the money, we
will print it, purchase isbn numbers and create a website to sell the
book.
I plan to promote it by doing readings at grade schools in
my region and local bookstores. I would also like to provide free copies
of the book to North Dakota libraries. I will also set up a profile for
the book on goodreads.com to generate buzz. Of course I already have a facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/Mauriceabouttown.
Any extra that is raised will go toward more books and promotion.
