We're hitting the studio in the spring to record a full-length record. Help us fund our album!
Greetings & salutations! We're Local Hero, a Bay Area indie pop band comprised of Leo Grossman, Max Hirtz-Wolf, Maya Laner and Alex MacKay. This Kickstarter may be the first you've seen of our band, or perhaps you've known us for a long time. In any case, we've come a long way over the past year and would love to include you as we take this exciting next step.
We're recording a full-length LP! Ten new songs. Twelve days of analog recording over four weekends at Tiny Telephone Studios in San Francisco. Jay Pellicci will be engineering, and we're all producing it together.
This is the culmination of everything we've worked towards for the past 3 years, and we really need your help. Recording costs are upwards of $500 per day. We've saved some money from recent gigs, t-shirt and EP sales, but we still need to raise $4000 to cover recording, mixing, mastering and CD pressing. Help us make this happen by pledging to this Kickstarter. In return, we're offering some splendid gifts and services!
