Great News! We have finally gotten all the tracking done for "On the Frontline"!

We went to Nashville this past weekend to track my accordion and both Chad's and my vocals. Included here are a couple pics of me during the recording session, and one pic with Tom Michael, one of our producers at Zodlounge. We should have the final mix this week, then off to mastering.

So, we are still on track to get this song to all of you sometime this month! 

We cannot wait for you to hear it and share it with all your friends!  Our great hope is that it serves as a rally cry to unite us all to help those most vulnerable.

We are thrilled to be playing at the Greater Birmingham Humane Society Fall Festival this Sunday. It is even mentioned in the Bham news!

Hopefully lots of folks will come out and support this great event. We will be performing, "On the Frontline," along with many more original tunes.

To know that there are 17 people in this world who care about our mission and our music...that makes all the struggle worth it. There are so many independent singers/songwriters who never have anyone care. We do not take this for granted.

The Kickstarter will remain open for 8 more days since the timeframe was pre-set. During that time we will continue to offer people the opportunity to participate to help us meet the costs of production that are over the $1,000 mark, just in case anyone else wants to be a part of this amazing journey. In addition to tracking, mixing, and mastering costs, we also plan to get a good quantity of cds of the song made for AVRAL and all of you to use.

To know that this song is now possible, when a few weeks ago it seemed utterly impossible...we cannot describe to you how this feels.

Sunday, Oct. 30 - Moonlight on the Mountain in Hoover

We would value your recommendation of other pet festivals or venues that would be a fit for our acoustic folk sound. We want to get our music and our message out there!

We played tonight at Chloe's Cup, a locally owned coffee shop in Tuscaloosa. We played "On the Frontline," and I explained what the song is about. We talked about our Kickstarter and also about all the work that needs to be done on behalf of animals suffering in AL. We talked about the bigger picture and the importance of Alabama Voters for Responsible Animal Legislation (AVRAL). Below is a photo from tonight.
